Really solid value and the staff were incredibly helpful
This felt like a hostel, not a hotel.
A member of staff (Gustavo) made odd comment about not leaving the shower dirty. Not sure how to interpret that remark.
everything was lovely - great staff, wonderful food (especially the granola!), comfortable bed, clean...really terrific. would definitely recommend it!
Todo estuvo excelente! Nos encanto la estadía en este lugar. Muy acogedor, amable staff y excelente desayuno!! Mi único comentario de mejoramiento es con respecto al baño. La poceta parece estar desprendida en la habitación 05 y también olía a orine a ciertas horas, pensamos que el olor venía del drenaje.

Es un bonito hotel ubicado cerca de Plaza de Armas en Cusco, tiene buen vista del ciudad y es muy comodo con sus muebles y deseño. Muy recomendado!

El desayuno podría tener un poco más de variedad y que el huésped pueda elegir una o dos opciones.
Fabulous location a short walk to the main plaza and not far from Sacsayhuaman. Adjusting to the Cusco altitude can be challenging so staying in a place so conveniently located near all the major attractions is a definite plus. And because El Balcon is in a historic building, the rooms have a lot of character and charm. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Gran lugar, nos encanto, fue el mejor lugar en el que nos quedamos en todo nuestro viaje, hubiéramos querido habernos hospedado también en Ollantaytambo con ustedes, pero para eso regresaremos y sin duda nos quedaremos con ustedes
Also the food is excellent! We loved our stay at El Balcon, the beds, sheets, pillows, robes .... everything was superb! My second time there and I will always stay with them each visit. Simply the best !!!!
Beautiful hotel. Delicious breakfast, gracious staff, beautiful views, heater in room and a jug to refill water bottles so you don't waste plastic. My favorite hotel in Peru!
Really lovely little place to stay. We had a group of 15 + people and stayed in various rooms including balcony, triple and twin share. Beds/pillows were very comfy and rooms nice and warm! We tried food from the restaurant over breakfast, lunch and dinner and were very impressed with the selection of food and how delicious it was, as well as being very reasonably priced. Lovely outdoor garden area for us to sit, relax and chat in the sun. Thanks El Balcon for a very lovely stay!
