Patagonia, wild and virgin territory where nature has created an impressive way of life specially adapted to these latitudes and extreme conditions. Enormous rocky mountains, lakes and turquois colored rivers with thousand year old Lenga forests and a rich fauna are only part of what the visitor can discover in Patagonia.....our land..
PATAGONIA CAMP PHILOSOPHY Because at Patagonia Camp we believe that we need to protect and take care of our earth now, we are absolutely commited to taking care of our territory, Patagonia. This is why we have built Patagonia Camp in a way that respects the environment as much as possible. How? Through architecture that's as non invasive as possible, that visually and structurally adapts to the landscape in the area. Our camp is completely built on top of wooden posts – the terraces around the yurts, the common areas and the board walks all connect to the main hall. This way we can maintain the existence and survival of the plants, bushes and trees that have lived in the area for hundreds of years.
THE PLACE Located on the shore of Lake El Toro on a place of incomparable beauty, Patagonia Camp is Chiles first luxury camp. Surrounded by spectacular landscapes, ancient forest, transparent lakes and lagoons and green coloured water rivers, Patagonia Camp is the perfect place to enjoy the wild chilean Patagonia combining nature and adventure with comfort and luxury.
THE HOTEL Patagonia Camp has 18 “yurts”, completely independent tents with private bathroom and terrace, with a beautiful view of the El Toro Lake and Paine Mountains. Each tent is equipped with double beds, heating system and its Patagonian decoration gives a unique and unforgettable experience. You can enjoy the meals prepared by our chef in our dinning room while observing the lake and the mountains or relax in the lounge and bar with a Pisco Sour or a glass of the worldwide famous Chilean wine. Of course you are invited to our Quincho where you will be able to take part in the preparation of the typical “Magellan lamb“. Our expert bilingual staff will welcome you and make you feel at home.
DISCOVER PATAGONIA From Patagonia Camp you can do fun and interesting activities such as hiking, horse back trail rides, bird watching, fishing and much more. We have expert guides for these activities who will take you to see the spectacular landscapes in the area that have made this place famous worldwide.
CLEAN ENERGY, PURE RESIDUE Patagonia is one of the purest places on earth and we at Patagonia Camp want it to continue being so. We have put a lot of effort into using the most amount of clean energy or non contaminating such as solar energy and wind energy possible, investing in energy saving machines. We've also taken care to see that anything thrown out makes the most minimal impact on the environment possible, and have installed a treatment plant for organic water and another for grey water to make sure that all water used at Patagonia Camp returns clean to nature. Your commitment is our commitment.
