The Matetic mansion is located in the Valle del Rosario, within a branch of the San Antonio Valley 120 km from Santiago, between Casablanca and San Antonio.
It has an area of over 9,000 hectares in a virtually closed valley, facing perpendicular to the ocean and with an extraordinary luminosity. The 120 planted hectares, are based on principles of organic gardening in order to obtain one hundred percent natural grapes. The mild climate and Mediterranean coastal valley provides topographical and climatic conditions ideal for the production of red and white wines, which was demonstrated at the first harvest of 2001.
The Casona Matetic was built in early 1900. The remodelation was done by Architect Raul Irarrázabal, the decor was the work of architect Max Cummins and the design of the landscaped gardens of Martha Viveros. It has seven en-suite rooms, all with private bathrooms, spacious and carefully decorated. Further available are, a living room, dining room, a lounge with gaming tables, kitchen, restaurant, meeting room and a swimming pool for the exclusive use of passengers.
